Youth Soccer Team in Charlotte
Hope Soccer is excited to offer youth soccer in Charlotte for Ages 13 and Under. This team can take younger players who are very advanced and would like to play up, or it could make exceptions for less skilled players, who are not ready to play U14 (Travel). Exceptions can be made on a case per case basis. The team is coed, so it is for boys and girls. This team is for all skill levels. The season is 8 weeks long, which includes atleast 7 games – but typically more because of tournament and double headers.

What day/time is practice?
Practices will be either on Monday or Wednesday.
U13 teams will practice 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Where are games?
For ages, 12 and 13, or U13, all games are in Pineville, at the same field where we practice. Our league is simple! Everything is in one place! Google Maps Directions
What time are games?
Our games can be either on Friday nights anytime between 5:45pm and 8:45pm. Or, they could be on Saturdays, anytime between 3pm and 9pm. U13s usually get on the field towards the end of the night, or 6pm, 7pm or 8pm.
Do I have to volunteer to coach?
No!
We are about the only rec league in Charlotte that does not make parents volunteer to coach. Instead, all of our coaches are talented soccer players who know the beautiful game and play it well. We find that our players look up to their teenage/early-college coaches. Each and every coach has completed a training in child safety.
How long is the season?
Each season is 8 weeks long. You get 8 weeks of practice and 7 weekends of games.
Because of the tournament and possible double headers during the regular season, each team plays atleast 7 games, but most teams play more than 7 games per season.
Each season, we take a break. For the Spring, we take 2 weeks off around Easter and Spring Break. For the Fall, we take a 2 week break towards the end of October. We finish each season before “Memorial Day” (Spring) and “Thanksgiving” (Fall) respectively.
Where is my game schedule?
We use a software for our game schedules that has a FREE ap for our parents. Once you download the ap, it will show you your entire games schedule. It also shows you practice times. And sends you game reminders, as well as practice reminders. Our parents love this ap. It makes evertything super easy!

What is "Hope Skills Clinics"?
Hope Skills Clinics are available to your child on the day they don’t practice. They are designed to let your child get more touches on the ball when they don’t have practice. Hope coaches run drills and scrimmage. You can find out more about it here, and sign up as well. Cost is $5 per session. This is only for players who are registered to play at Hope for the season.

About a week before each season, we hold, an in-person, parent orientation to show our new players everything they need to know about the upcoming season.
Check back later for when the orientation will be for Fall 2023.
Local community and Hope Soccer
At Hope, we love to build community. Each season we host a “Community Night at the Park” and we invite all our parents to come by and meet each other. Hand out business cards and make connections.
If you are a small business owner and would like to get involved by sponsoring a team, we will print your logo on that team’s shirts and advertise your business through your sponsorship. Learn more here.
What else do I need?
Though your uniform is included, you still need to buy your own soccer cleats and shin guards.

We will show our players how to differentiate between individual excellence and team harmony.
At each practice, we share our faith with players wishing to hear.
